This Friday, (the 12th) starting at about 8:00 p.m., (this is about the same time that LTUE gets out for the day) we will have this semester's first MST3K forum. We will be watching The Dungeonmaster as it was called in America. Outside of America it was called Ragewar: The Challenges of Excalibrate. Neither title is really all that appropriate. This is a movie so bad that it can't be found on DVD. It was made by Charles Band under the Empire Pictures distribution label. Creator of such brilliant works as Robot Jox, Ghoulies, and Attack of the Killer Bimbos. . . . Ugh.

Anyway. The Dungeonmaster is about a nerdy computer engineer/troubleshooter who has an Apple IIe that for some reason is an extremely advanced AI and can automatically and immediately hack anything. The devil finds out about him, and since he's bored, kidnaps the computer nerd's girlfriend and challenges him to "seven challenges". If he fails, the the devil will keep both their souls.

The funny thing is, this movie has seven directors. Apparently it was meant as a showcase of their talents, but it just comes across as a set of really bad rejected Twilight Zone scripts. So come on down and rip this movie a new one like it deserves.
